As indicated in my despatch No 90 of the 5th November 1963 I have the honour to give you the following particulars regarding the naturalisation of HAJI MUHAMMAD HAFAN NAMAZI, for his original naturalisation certificate has been forwarded from Hongkong and produced to me.
8. The sertificate is No.6 under the 'Pritish Nationality and Status of Aliens Ast 1914',and is dated 17th July 1916.
[Consular Instructions Chapter XXV paragraph 4(11)state: "Certificates of Baturalisation granted under the let "“of 1914 confer what is known as Imperial naturalisation *and a person holding such a certificate is entitled "in foreign countries to all the privileges of a British "subject(but see paragraphs 24(e)and 28).Ceation 8 of "the 1914 Act gave the power to grant such certificates "to the Government of any British possession..”
